If you’re looking for women thriller writers to connect with, here’s some information about the WTWA and why I started this organization.

During the pandemic, I went to a lot of virtual conferences and had some interesting conversations with women about thrillers. A couple of women mentioned that they loved spy novels, but stopped reading them because of how female characters were treated.

That struck a cord with me because I stopped reading Clive Cussler when he treated the female characters as not being important or just there for the male story arch.

Plus, I thought about the problems I had in publishing my first book. Agents told me no one would buy an adventure book with a main female character – They were wrong. Not only does Toy of the Gods get sales, readers are loving it.

So, I started the WTWA to help women thriller writers get going on their writing and publish by having a support group and access to the information they need.
