Wow! I’m so honored to be nominated as one of the best authors in New Mexico along with George RR Martin and more! Look at that list:
That’s pretty cool to be included with authors like George RR Martin, and Rebecca Roanhorse! And that’s some tough competition. Especially since Mr. Martin is doing things like owning a book store in Santa Fe, running a film nonprofit, etc.
I even met him just a few weeks ago at the Santa Fe Literary Festival. We got to talk about roller derby (I play roller derby with Elevated Roller Derby). And no, I didn’t ask him when his next book comes out. I’ll know when the rest of the world knows, and I’m sure he’s super tired of people asking him.

3. She’s a founder of the publishing group in Albuquerque, the Womens Thriller Writers Association.
I’m impressed with how up-to-date with technology and writing applications Sonja is. She’s willing to share her expertise. She’s quick on responding. I was referred to her through a writing farm friend, and I’m very glad to have this referral.
In my correspondence with her, Sonja is always courteous, well-focused, and enthusiastic. She makes herself available. I found her writings personable with a sense of humor, and well thought out. Apparently, so do others because of the awards she’s won for her fiction titles.
I urge you to consider this hard-working, newer writer to the lists of Best Authors in NM.
