Dos for writing book reviews
- Write more than one sentence
- Be honest
Talking Points
- Did something surprise you in the book?
- What did you like best about the book?
- How did that book relate to your life?
- Can you compare or contrast this book against another similar book?
- What was the plot?
Don’ts for writing a book review
- Don’t say “Couldn’t put it down” unless you add in why you couldn’t put it down.
- Don’t share any spoilers
