The 5 Minute Author:
Self-Publishing Workbook
Want to self-publish your book, but don’t know how to start? Then it’s time to get The 5-Minute Author: Self-Publishing Workbook.
The truth is that it takes work but it’s within your reach to self-publish a book on your own and this workbook is your plan to get there. This book is full of tips including how to format for ebook or print, how to create your email list, and especially what to avoid. All you need is a chapter a day for your daily inspiration, then work for 20-30 minutes. (If you’re still working on your novel, consider checking out my other 5 Minute Author book – how to write a novel.)
It’s time to publish that book because your story is worth sharing!
“I had a completed manuscript when I got a copy of the Self-Publishing Workbook, and it was incredibly valuable for the publishing process. It had a lot of great insights – like don’t take the cheap route on formatting, or the book cover. So I hired professionals, and it was worth every penny. My book looks great in print (and listed on Amazon.) However, while I did spend extra money on those things, the guide also saved me a lot of money since it describes how to do things for yourself instead of using a broker service. For example, it describes how to file my copyright directly with the U.S. Copyright Office (which I didn’t even know I had to do) so it cost less than half the price of using a service.
Overall, the guide saved me a lot of time, a decent amount of money (even going the professional route with some things), and listed a lot of things I didn’t even know you had to do to publish your book. I definitely recommend it for the first time self-publisher, and I will definitely be using it for my next book.
