DESCRIPTION:Here’s the schedule\, so far!\n\n\n \n\n\n8:30 AM meeting at FatPipe ABQ to discuss flash fiction Share a list of flash fiction contests or places to use your fiction so you have some ideas as you write. We’ll also talk about how to come up with ideas for your fiction.\n\n\n \n\n\n9:00 AM walk over to train station downtown\n\n\n \n\n\n9:35 AM Take Train – write our flash fiction stories\n\n\n \n\n\n11:16 AM arrive in Santa Fe\n\n\n \n\n\n11:20 AM at Sky Coffee or Coffee shop near the train station – Exchange stories/read and review stories on the patio\n\n\n \n\n\n12:00 PM Take a break for lunch – lots of places to choose from\n\n\n \n\n\n1:30 PM Meet again to edit our stories – coffee shop.\n\n\n \n\n\n3:00 PM Discuss next steps for flash fiction.\n\n\n \n\n\n3:30 PM You’re on your own time – Take the free shuttle to see the plaza\, take an uber to visit Kakawa chocolate house\, or check out the many shops and places around the train station.\n\n\n \n\n\nThe next trains back to Albuquerque are:\n\n\n \n\n\n4:15 PM\n\n\n5:04 PM\n\n\n5:30 PM\n\n\n6:46 PM\n\n\n9:00 PM (Last Train)\n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\nWalking level: Moderate\n\n\n \n\n\nThe price ($40.00) includes:\n\n\n~Use of FatPipe ABQ in the morning\n\n\n~Morning coffee\n\n\n~Morning Snacks\n\n\n~Train Ticket\n\n\n~Afternoon train snacks\n\n\n~Handout to include current journals\, contests\, and other opportunities to use your flash fiction\n\n\n~Expertise of your facilitator\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nFlash fiction is very short fiction that tells a tale in 1\,500 or less words (sometimes as few as 250 words)!\n\n\n \n\n\nYour facilitator: \n\n\nSonja Dewing\, Author is a published author and won third place in the Alibi’s flash fiction story “something” that she wrote while she was on the train. She’s also a certified instructor and has experience encouraging creativity in others.\n\n\n \n\n\nYour lunch: We’d rather you have the choice of what to have for your meal instead of digging up a set menu somewhere.
