Sharing an embarrassing moment with you!

On my flight to Dallas, the seats were so narrow that bits of my cheese-its landed on the man next to me. Tiny bits of orange on his dark blue pants. He was sleeping so I attempted to swipe them off lightly with my bookmark. It sort of worked.

That said – if you’re a writer you should be carrying around a notebook of ideas. I know I’ll be adding this incident to my “funny” section of my notes.

I think that this situation would be perfect for a funny moment in a story. I could totally make it even worse. Maybe she’s trying to wipe off his pants and he wakes up. “Hey, what are you doing?”

Also, the next time you do something that you feel is embarrassing, remember that I brushed the pants of a complete stranger. You’re welcome.
